Patrick Kelly DMT, NREMT-B

Patrick has worked in emergency services since 2015, when he joined his local fire department. Since then, he has worked nonstop to grow and further his education in technical rescue, emergency medicine, public safety diving, and dive medicine. In 2016, he earned his New York Interior Firefighter certification, followed by his New York State Emergency Medical Technician–Basic (EMT-B) certification in 2017. He has since received several Class A and Class B lifesaving awards.

In 2019, Patrick completed his scuba diving certifications, which allowed him to begin diving with his local public safety dive team and, by 2020, to work alongside Dr. O'Neill in the Multiplace Hyperbaric Department at Phelps Memorial Hospital. During this time, he also began working with U.S. Hyperbaric, where he has been involved in numerous interventions. In January 2021, he completed the Diver Medic Technician course at the Divers Institute of Technology (DIT) in Seattle, Washington, earning his NBDHMT Diver Medic Technician (DMT) certification.
